Abstract

For the evaluation of the High Horizontal Postioplasty (PHA) for correction of postsurgical preputial stenosis in bulls for their re-entry to the bovine company, a non-probabilistic descriptive study was carried out. The surgical patients were two Brahman / Black Sardo bulls with postsurgical preputial stenosis. A horizontal incision was made above the fibrous duct. Clamping and torsion were sufficient for hemostasis of the small vessels. The dissemination was carried out in 360 ° until the entire fibrous duct was detached, until the normal lumen of the duct was observed again. Four cardinal stitches were placed with a monophilic nylon suture to expand the mucosa and be able to suture it to the skin. These same attachment points were fixed with a surgeon's stitch and subsequently the necessary stitches were placed between them. As a result, the bulls operated with the described technique had recovery in a postoperative period of 90 days. The RB-C was 4.2, which means that for each peso invested, said peso was recovered and also an extra profit of $ 3.2 pesos M / N was obtained. It is concluded that the High Horizontal Postioplasty was efficient, being 4.2 pesos M / N, at the same time that the bulls in a period of 90 days began with their zootechnical function.
