Make Totonaco art visible: Dances between folklore and ritual ceremony

This article emerges from the exploratory research carried out from January 2017 to 2019 in the Totonacapan region, called “Produce, reproduce and resignify regional arts. In order not to remain alone with the spectacular and tourist dimension, it was necessary to articulate various interdisciplinary knowledge that revolve around cultural heritage, indigenous art and gender perspective; in such a way that it allowed an intercultural communication with the authors of the Totonacapan dances.
