Mexico is one of the twelve that together has a percentage of 70% of the planet's biological diversity. Wild flora and fauna are elements of biodiversity, they represent ethical, cultural, economic, political, ecological, recreational, educational and scientific values, which have gone hand in hand with the development of humanity and the evolution of the planet. Therefore, Mexico is a country where the implementation of care and conservation of biodiversity are prevailing. To do this, there are currently figures called UMAs. Making the background and regulations surrounding these figures known to the general population is important. However, making governments, businessmen, producers and different sectors of the population aware of the importance of the environmental legal framework for the creation of various UMAs within the national territory is essential. The foregoing is to promote the development of alternative sources of income for their communities and to guarantee a healthy environment, in addition to promoting and spreading an environmental legal culture is a strategy.
