This work is being done in the open with the purpose of benchmarking different established varieties, to meet the production capacity and quality of strawberry plants in foreign varieties (Festival, Albion, Camino Real, Portola and San Andreas). The five varieties were established at three farms located in Chihuahua, Mexico at different altitudes: Namiquipa (1,888 m), Guerrero (2,152 m) and Satevo (1,900 m). He scored ten random plants of each variety at each site. The physiological variables are measured; number of flowers, number of stolons, and number of fruits, crown diameter and chlorophyll are quality variables, weight, firmness, size, titratable acidity, pH and degrees Brix, and soil analysis and water. To determine production and nutritional quality of fruit in the crop cycle. Statistical analysis will be analyzed later. For analysis of water the three sites were classified as very good in Guerrero C1S1, low salinity and low sodium in Namiquipa good quality Satevo and C2S1, medium salinity, low sodium. Soil tests indicate sandy clay loam texture with minimum percentage difference for the three sites, with a pH of 6.9-7.2 with medium-low salinity and soil fertility management varies according to each producer at each site.
