Abstract

In the current diagnosis on the environmental impact of companies that occupy the Quiñapa Creek and deposit their waste, the greatest concern is to understand the magnitude of the damage that these activities can cause, given that companies that provide services to some of the oil companies that occupy Quiñapa Creek The sale of the product is intended for direct discharge of waste, so the purpose of this work is to see if there is real damage to the creek and the environment, and to see if the municipality controls the institution and perhaps the discharge of each company is located and sampled in a riverbed 4 km long, which crosses the city of Cordoba. The samples were then taken to the Toxicology Laboratory of the Faculty of Biological and Agricultural Sciences of the Universidad Veracruzana, Peñuela Campus. Readings were taken with a Lamotte Smart 2 colorimeter in which 10 ml of water from the stream was placed, the results were collected and a comparison table was made using the values given in NOM-001-SEMARNAT-1996.

Regarding the environmental impact, the results were interpreted and it was found that the contaminants were below the standard and the impact on the soil was not serious since they were below the limit values established by several companies because they comply with all the standard requirements.
