The work consisted of information on citrus in Tuxpan, Veracruz, for it, applied a survey of producers belonging to the Local Agricultural Citrus Growers Association. The essential questions were among others, the predominant varieties, patterns or existing rootstocks, the influence of the pattern on performance, production costs, yield per hectare and the selling prices ranging in place. In addition, marketing channels, that when analyzing each of the responses give a benchmark of the current situation of the citrus industry in place. The results show that the greater variety of plantings is the orange variety Valencia, followed Dancy tangerine variety, and finally, grapefruit variety Rio network. In addition, it was found that the sour orange pattern is the most used; in turn, it is having greater influence in cultivated varieties. Marrs, Dancy and Ortanique are the least cost of production require, however are always fetch a good price. The Navelate Lane has the highest selling price obtained. Marketing is mostly through intermediaries. It follows that even though new patterns were introduced, continues to dominate the sour and the species most cultivated variety is still Valencia.
