Application of startup as generation of business viable ideas, with young entrepreneurs from the south region of the state Chihuahua

The present investigation focused in the applied implementation of the methodology ‘’Startup’’, that allowed the development of innovative ideas of viable businesses focused on promoting the added value of farm products and solve problems in the economic -social sector. An Innovation Forum was developed ‘’Innovation Weekend’’ headed by the Secretary of Innovation and Economic Development of the Government of the State of Chihuahua with universities and business organizations. The participants were recruited through a comprehensive search of a specific profile in which the majority were young talents and entrepreneurs who were benefited with the grants for the participation of the forum, centralizing in the south central region of the State of Chihuahua.
Eight viable business ideas were completed in a time of 54 hours, support and mentoring was provided by a group of entrepreneurs located in the database of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the region. Participants had the opportunity to present it to a jury conformed by representatives of the State Government, Municipal and Businessmen.
