Design of a farm to produce egg in Meoqui, Chihuahua.

Although there are egg distributors that supply large population centers, in the study region, there are supply problems. The present work was done to contribute to the egg supply through an investment project developed for an egg producing farm. The identified distribution channel is made up of local retailers that are not supplied. A questionnaire of nine questions was applied to 18 grocery stores that comprised 90% of the total. 78.6% said they had supply problems, of which they would be willing to buy from the company. In addition, we detected the need for a constant distribution of the product, with good quality and that the price is among the market averages. The financial viability of the project is acceptable as it has a NPV (10%) = 239,865, a IRR = 19% and a Cost-Benefit ratio = 1.1765.
