Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia Andrews) is an orchid that produces edible aromatic fruits, which positions it as one of the most transcendental agro-biological legacies of Mesoamerican cultures. The essence extracted from its fruit is widely used in the food and pharmaceutical industry. Given its importance, this research evaluated various physical and chemical problems of its cultivation. The results obtained were favorable, highlighting only the management of the orchard, which because it is in a humid area, fungal diseases occur. According to the field visits and the analysis of the response variables, statistically significant differences were observed between the orchards that did not use chemical products in their orchard management. Based on the general simple statistical analysis, it is concluded that the best management of the orchard is combining organic and chemical management. Showing producers that it can be cultivated while respecting the environment.
