Recent presence of Pterygoplichthys, named commonly plecos, devilfish of fishbowl cleaner, has been resgitered around epicontinental waters of Chinameca, Veracruz. This becomes an environmental and ecological problems because its huge adaptative plasticity and natural predators absence, which causes native species displacement. Currently in Veracruz state there is a lack of research studies that permits to support erradication or control measures of invasive fish Pterygoplichthys. Biological bimonthly samplings were carried out with main objective for obtaining basical data, this taken in lower part of Chacalapa river and the adjacent craft dam “La Chinampita”. Samplings dates were taken between July 2012 to may 2013, with little selectives fish gill nets. P. pardalis species presence were determined, with organisms ranging from total lenght 420 mm (TL) and 620 weight in males, 390 mm TL y 650 g were recorded in females. High abundance catch records (43%) were noticed in May. Reproductive activity begins from March with a higher gonad development in May.
