Citrus cultivation is a very important activity in the national fruit industry. Citrus grown in Mexico are: Citrus sinensis L. orange, Citrus aurantifolia Mexican lemon, Citrus latifolia L. Persian lemon, Citrus paradisi grapefruit and Citrus reticulata mandarin (SIACON, 2006). The fruit is available most of the year, with the lowest availability in September. From June to September, Veracruz supplies the national market, but its quality is not the highest. Nuevo León exhibits maximum production from October to February (early cycle), while 40% of the production is available from May to August (Lerma, 2015). This information is important for producers to know and identify and select orchards with the varieties that have the best development in the area, and thus increase their production, yields and income to support their family, as well as satisfy the demand in the market national and international market.
