Trichoderma asperellum was used as a stimulant in the production of vanilla cuttings using a completely randomised experimental design with 5 treatments and 4 replicates at different application rates: T1 500 ml, T2 350 ml, T3 250 ml, T4 150 ml of Trichoderma asperellum and T5 the control treatment. Applied every 8 days. The response variables were shoot thickness, shoot thickness, shoot length, root fresh weight and root dry weight. The analysis of variance and the test of comparison of means by Tukey's method were carried out, observing that for the variable thickness of cuttings, treatment three had a diameter of 1.5 cm, presenting statistically significant differences, followed by treatment four with a diameter of 1.4 cm. In the variable shoot thickness, treatment two showed statistically significant differences with a thickness of 1.7 cm followed by treatment three with a result of 1.4 cm in diameter. Treatment three showed the best results in at least three of the five variables evaluated.
