Investment project of a farm of pigs in the municipality of Delicias, Chihuahua

The present study was conducted in the municipality of Delicias, Chihuahua to evaluate the financial feasibility and economic of a pig farm. We used the format of formulation and evaluation of investment projects support program for the productivity of the entrepreneurial woman of the SAGARPA. The farm is complete-cycle production the first year will produce 453 pigs whose race is hybrid, are crosses of Landrace, Yorkshire and Duroc; and so increase propocionalmente year after year. The channel of distribution most suitable for the project is provided by producer - introducer - end consumer. The economic assessment gave as a result an IRR of the 45.51% with a VAN(10%) of $865,751.57 in addition to a benefit cost (10%) 1.14 so the project is financially viable.
