Casas Viejas Group of the municipality of Texistepec, Veracruz. The guiding assumption is that the increase in the level of technology adoption depends on the social, economic and cultural factors of their members. The GGAVATT methodology was applied in the first period, stages I and II out of a total of four, in which each of the innovations that compose the indicated technological package was examined, during the years 2010-2011. The group was made up of ten owners of production units aimed at raising dual-purpose cattle. It was found that in all the applied components of the technological package they carried to the evolution of the technology transfer of each member and of the Group as a whole. It is concluded that the GGAVATT model stimulated changes in the technological aspect, but also in the socio-cultural aspect by participating, integrating and acquiring knowledge through social interaction, to improve their ranches.
